Samhain Full Moon Forest Dance

Eclipses are short but potent funnels of fated energy that we experience on a collective and individual level.  This potent Lunar Eclipse happens just days before Samhain, the ancient pagan festival that is the basis of today's Halloween. At this time of year, the end of harvest season is celebrated as we welcome the entry into the darkest part of the year.  At this time, the veil between worlds is thinnest, and the winds of change and transormation are the strongest.

These events were often feared due to the unpredictability of their energy.  However, they’re actually a gift from the Universe.  During an eclipse portal, you can be sure that whatever happens is actually for your highest good.  No matter how big or small the shift, or how life-altering the event, trust that the Universe has your back.  It’s helping you step into your most heart-centered, empowered self.  So, instead of feeling victimized by the energy - it’s actually a time to listen, observe, and surrender to cosmic flow.  What better way to surrender than to dance te night away?

The Oct 28th eclipse happens on a full moon, closing doors and bringing things to a culmination.  Our wounding might be highlighted in an effort to bring healing & expansion in alignment with our values.  Whatever disempowering relationship patterns are present that keep you from living in alignment with your values, this is the time to accept the writing on the wall.  If certain things end or doors close, know that whatever it is has run its course for the better.

We'll take a silent Samhain forest walk to connect with the elements and the energy of this time of year, and then we’ll dance the night away to release emotions, connect with our ancestors, and maybe even work up a sweat!

We encourage you to dress up festively and bring an offering (a sacred item, food, flowers, etc) for our ancestor altar.
